That's my challenge for this year! http://www.thepoxbox.com/what.php?id=nodessert What are you doing?

Comments

What a challenge! My challenge is just to make some money and get a nice gaming PC.

Well if you're 11 that could be hard : D

Nice! I feel sorry for you, though. I don't think that I could make it 365 days without any kind of sugar. I have no challenges to complete other than college and maybe learn to program because I like video games.

No sugar not even in juices! now that is something.

I didn't say no sugar :O :O

Mine is to not eat out or order delivery all year and cook at home.

Trying to save money?

P. much the same as yours, with a weight-loss goal of <10 pounds

Oh in that case that challenge is apiece of cake!

Does pork covered in brown sugar or Jagermeister count as candy?

Not if it's part of a meal... Yeah I know the rules are unclear in life.

But I love candy

How are pancakes or waffles dessert though? I mean if you don't put any syrup on it, how is that a dessert?

Also diet sodas are awful. When was the last time you saw a fit person order a diet soda vs. a fat person? I rest my case. Stick with teas.

The ingredients of pancakes and waffles are the same as cake. You might as well be eating a slice of carrot cake for breakfast.. at least that has carrots in it...
Diet drinks are perfectly fine. Me and my friends drink it and we race bikes so yah. The myth that diet drinks are somehow bad for you is one of the most persistant health myths that exist, along with all the bullshit surrounding vitamin C and it's magical anti-disease effects. People will pay anything for vitamin C lol.

Well you ate enough last year for the both of us so yeah good idea

Yes I did eat a metric fuckton of candy : D
IT WAS GREAT

I've been on this torturous diet for years, and while it certainly has made me a lot healthier looking/feeling, I still to this day fucking hate it! I can't have sugar and stuff because of health issues, so I don't even get the choice. It's certainly better for you though, no doubt about it. ;_; I pretty much live on nuts, leafy things, sometimes beans or rice. No salt. I haven't enjoyed eating in years, it's just a quick chore now. On the plus side, I only spend about 15 minutes a day eating because I just wolf down the required nutrients and then get back to work. I eat a LOT of nuts to keep up with my workout routine though, and that gets very expensive. ;_;

Just eat peanut butter then that costs nothing :D

But peanut butter is gross! :D I am also pretentious and snooty, so I get like, sprouted nuts and stuff. It's terrible, I'm ashamed.

Yeah well no shit it'll cost you a billion dollars if that's what you want to eat. Consider dried beans, that's like 4-5$ per bag and 3500 calories of ultra-healthy stuff. Don't know if there's gluten in beans though but there's so many kinds of them ( chick peas, lima beans, kidney beans...) that something's got to be ok.
